それよりメリーと親交が深いとはいえ、バーニングプロ倒産危機でまたも周防郁雄にメリーが泣き付かれた際は「みっともない！」と取り合おうとしないしね。
静香の後ろ盾なので、メリーが周防を裏切れなくても一家もろともそれを嫌がって逃げ出してしまうしね（笑）
